The main features of TomPlayer are :
- Playing video and audio files (Tomplayer is based on a ARM build of mplayer and, as such, supports most formats that are known by mplayer)
- OSD menu while playing a file that enables to :
- Display file position
- Control the stream (play, pause, forward, rewind...)
- Seek in the stream by direct action on the progress bar
- Adapt settings (sound volume, brightness, audio delay)
- Display the current battery status

- Display a pictures diaporama (support for BMP, GIF, PNG and JPEG formats and auto-scale capability)
Tomplayer is compatible with most TomTom models and able to automatically adapt to the screen size, may it be 320x240 or 480x272.
