I think you need a list of ctrl, as I need.

If its possible to get that list of ctrls we could do some help

unless that it only needs to change cmd by ctrl here http://www.tomplayer.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=944&p=5317&hilit=ctrl#p4419

thanks

Good News for Carminat Users.
I bought a 64GB SDcard (SanDisk Ultra SDXC - €73) and tested in my carminat and not recognized. This card is formatted in exFAT and the other alternative is to format to NTFS which also is not recognized by carminat.
After searching the web I found a small program that enables to format this card in FAT32 and carminat already recognize the card and it works fine.
So anyone who wants to have a large amount of music, videos and several maps in the SDcard it's a great solution.
Regards.

Well if you bought your tomtom maps, through tomtomhome.exe, the company has left you download maps compatible with your model of tomtom ... otherwise it is not allowed to talk about here!
Thank you for the understanding.

Tomplayer and Navcore on carminat tomtom.
I replaced the map 890.4237 by 895.4447 and the navcore does not start. Always keep rebooting. On a sdcard only with the navcore the 895.4447 map works fine. Anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks.

Hi!! First of all congratulations for your work!!

I have a Renault Fluence with TomTom Carminat navcore 8.842, with BT remote. The first time you insert the card the remote works OK, I can go to TomPlayer, back to the navigation menu. But after its disconects I can not connect it again. No matter what I try I can´t get it back online.

The only think it works so far is removing the SD card and then inserting it back again.

Thanks!!

I attach an image showing the data on my Carminat, because I can not in any way to make it work. as many of you have succeeded, you wonder if you can help me, maybe putting a link where I can download what you need me.
I thank you in advance for your help!

Dear kikko,
The good new is that you can use Tomplayer in your carminat, (you have navcore 8.842).
The best option is to take your actual tomtom card, copy everything on a new one, (so you keep your original one with all the files working), test the copy SD card in your car that it works, and for the rest always use the new one, never the original.
Then, on first post of this thread you have the files to download. Follow the instructions, it is not very difficult.
If you have troubles, then follow the thread, some users (like me) have experienced some troubles, but they are solved. Try to solve yours with the solutions already provided. It is the best way to learn how it works.
Then if you still have troubles, post them with details in order to help you, but first you must start from page 1 of this thread.

By the way, next time you post any picture of your tomtom please delete the serial number with paint or similar. (n.seriale).
It identifies you. Maybe you may want to rest anonymous.

Best regards,
