I open this thread to report issues with tomplayer v0.240 beta version which brings full support for carminat

Dear Wolfgar,
Two days that I'm "out of order" and I've seen the rush.

Where I can find the 0.240 version to implement it?. Finally as you comment in the Carminat thread is a mess, I can not follow it clear to know the right files to install.

Now rotate issues is ok.

The Playlist now works, but gets a little confusing!
If I see a movie and then a music and resume up the movie it will play the music. If I play the music and then the movie and choose resume the music it will play the movie (which was the last).

We are almost near perfection.

I have selected AUX source but I still have no sound.
EDIT* The problem was that I had not inserted the USB key. Now sound works!

Are you sure ? i have switched the music and audio resume ?

I have a Renault Clio with Bluetooth remote control (If you want to test the Bluetooth remote control I'm available).
I used the tomplayer_v0.240b1 version.

When you start the screen freezes "about.png"

also mine palyer started without sound, i turned up level of uadio in the console (qhile oplaying musici) and i started to hear sound!

For Wolfgar: I ask too much... if possbile would be very usefull to have the clock (the current time) is some place (in initla screen or also while playing music) becuse in Megane the only way to see the time is in this display.

Anyway...., Wolfgar your are a genius!

Hi guys,

I tried the new version, with a new SD card, and everything works fine!
With my old SD card alway got a constant reboot, or stuck at splash screen.
So apparently, it's important to use a correct type of SD card.
So for people with this issue, please try to use another (newer) card, it might solve the problem.

So thumbs up for wolfgar, you pinpointed the issue!


after testing some time i found some small bugs:

1. when the screensaver is on for some time, it won't deactivate for some reason (screen is nearly black) and i have to reboot.
Imho, this feature could be removed from the carminat version, as we don't need to save battery life.

2. selecting multiple files in the audioplayer, results in 1-2 sec audio from the beginning and nothing more after that. Each track plays for a few second. Playing a single file works like a charm however.
3. not possible to shut down the system with the engine running. you need to pull over and stop the engine, before you can reboot or turn of the system.

Now i use a 2GD Sandisk SD card Class 2 for testing wich works great.
I used to try with a 1 GB Integral Memory SD card (no class spec) and it never worked, except autoplay.
I can also see that the copying of files goes much faster with the newer sd card, with the old one it took about 3 times longer.

What system do you have ?
Also a joystick? what version? Formatted sd card to FAT32?

I have the same problem the sysem is continuasly rebooting or freezes maybe it´s the SD card i'm using an old one 128Mb

I'm going to get a new one
