TTGO 950 LIVE - Black screen on load

Hi, just trying to use tomplayer for the fisrt time.

Have loaded software & sample music onto a micro SD card as per instructions.
When I boot the device up, it makes it past the SD's splash screen, then goes black.

Soft reset is the only fix (holding the power button for 15 secs).

Thanks for this report : It looks like the standalone image does not boot correctly on your device...
Have you correctly copied the Tomplayer folder at the root of your sdcard ?
Have you correctly sync-ed the USB reader (or the tomtom if your use the tomtom bootloader itself as a sdcard reader ) before unplugging the device ?

If you answer "yes" to these 2 questions then you can still try the integrated installation which is known to work for sure with your device if i remember correctly...

Sadly yes to both Q's.

I have since been looking for problems and I find the paths defined as "/mnt/sdcard/..."
Now the device only a microSD slot, could it have a different name?

It shouldn't have a different name for the standalone intall...
Yet be aware that if you try the integrated installation, your sdcard slot is likely to be mounted on /mnt/movinand...
